This Saturday 18 September 2021, the Legal Representative of the United Methodist Church of Burundi, Right Honorable Reverend Doctor Emmanuel SINZOHAGERA, accompanied by his Spouse, and the superintendent of Cankuzo District, joined with the population of CANKUZO province in the work of construction of the football stadium.
This is related to the UMC commitment to support the Government’s projects especially in the provinces where the United Methodist Church is settled. Besides that activity, the Legal Representative contributed, on behalf of the Church of Burundi, 3 135 000 Burundian francs to support that construction. This sum was collect by the members of UMC from CANKUZO province to effectively support government’s activity
The same act had been also done in Rutana province in July, where the church contributed 3 854 000 Burundian francs to support the construction of governor’s headquarters. It is also planned to be done in Ruyigi province in future.
